We found it well-used but still manageable; what's nice is that the track is a dedicated space so you aren't tripping over sun loungers or other equipment. There's fitness equipment interspersed around the track, for people who like to stop and incorporate exercises such as pulldowns or planks during their run/walk. The Cloud 9 fitness center can be hard to find on its own; you need to walk past the spa desk to find it. The fitness center is always busiest in the mornings, and in the afternoon before dinner; if you don't want to wait for equipment, work around these times. The ship is alive all day long but it certainly heats up at night.

Accompanied by the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and friends, you can feast on a colorful breakfast. With menu items like Horton’s cereal crusted french toast, pancake stacks, steak and eggs, and of course, green eggs and ham, what’s not to love? Whether you are a family or just kids at heart like us, this is a fun way to spend a sea day breakfast.
Carnival Panorama Departure Ports
Personal training and nutritional consulting are available for a fee. True to land trends, the Salon has a full brow and lash bar, with shaping, tinting and extensions available. Medi-spa treatments include Restaylane, Dysport (similar to Botox) and Thermage.
Staterooms
Reminiscent of a nostalgic Cuban bar, Havana Bar features authentic Cuban coffees and cocktails, and Cuban party fun in the evenings. Carnival Panorama cruises to some of the most exciting cruise destinations in Mexico, including Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta. At every port, there are an assortment of amazing shore excursions you can be a part of at each port of call. And while you are cruising, don’t forget to take advantage of all the fun things to do right onboard. With its Long Beach homeport, Carnival Panorama draws a large number of passengers from California, as well as nearby states, including Arizona and Nevada. Expect a large number of families in the summer months and during holidays.
Spa, Waterworks & Sports
Long Beach is lined with several beautiful beaches and tons of shopping and fun restaurants. When I'm not catching a show or listening to music over a cocktail at sea, Dive-In Movies are my go-to for a quiet night. On the big screen above the pool, we caught new feature films under the stars.
Bring your appetite because the ship has an array of enticing dining choices. Two elegant main dining rooms serve delicious international cuisine from a menu that changes daily. Savor delicious international cuisine at the two main dining rooms both with an extensive daily-changing menu. A fantastic casual buffet features a variety of palate-pleasing dishes. Feel like you are at a New England-style seafood shack as you savor such classics as lobster rolls and crab cakes.
The blue slide is enclosed, but the red one requires a raft and won't operate in extreme wind or weather. The Havana pool and whirlpools are on Deck 5, but only accessible to those staying in Havana staterooms. You can see the space from the Havana Bar, and it looked secluded and dreamy.
This offering doesn't require reserved seats or tickets and is yet another free activity. Additionally, the ship's main stage usually offers three production shows with rock, blues, soul, and a few Broadway favorites. These performances are free and don't require seat reservations or tickets. Each sailing, I look forward to the '80s deck party that has happened on every Carnival cruise I've taken. The DJ spins classic pop and rock, and just about everyone shows up in 80s fashion, so I always pack my cruise wardrobe accordingly.
Spa & Fitness
The interior rooms have most of the same features minus the couch. This is really great because you can reserve your spot while you are still in your room or at a bar and head to the dining room when your table is ready. If you are signed up for My Time Dining (where you eat at any time you want) you need to download the Carnival Hub App and log in to the dining room to reserve your table. They give you a countdown and let you know when your table is ready. Breakfast is typically the same every morning but offers a pretty big selection of food. By knowing these two simple terms, you will have a much easier time finding any place on the ship.
You don’t have to be a karaoke sensation for this contest, but you do have to move it and shake it. Get your very own music, props, and backup dancers as you battle it out during a series of competitions throughout the cruise to see who will be crowned the next superstar. Even if you don’t plan to participate, being an audience member can be just as entertaining. The Atrium Bar is also a good spot to catch featured performers, including rock violinists, throughout the day and all evening. I'm always a bit amazed that this is a free activity aboard Panorama, as it seems like something that would have a separate fee, especially since guests can go on this ride as many times as they like. The ropes course has solid platforms to walk from one area to the next, navigating the path via different rope obstacles.
Activities are determined based on age group, but can include a variety of arts and crafts, puzzles, song and dance, and movies and video games. Meals are held under the supervision of counselors, including lunch and dinner. Parents must sign kids under 9 in and out of the program, but can give their 9- to 11-year-olds permission to sign themselves out. A family focus is not only given to playtime, but mealtime, as well. Most specialty restaurants onboard offer a reduced cover (or in some cases free) for children to dine at dinner.
A peaceful place of serenity and relaxation, it’s the perfect spot to rest and simply enjoy the calm majesty of the sea. Make a splash with a couple of the wettest and wildest water attractions onboard Carnival Panorama. WaterWorks is a thrilling waterpark, and the Twister Waterslide delivers several hundred feet of water-soaked fun. From Long Beach, the ship operates on 7-day Mexican Riviera cruises (Saturday departures) to call ports Cabo San Lucas (Baja California), Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta. The ship has a Japanese specialty restaurant named Bonsai Teppanyaki. The new dining venue is located within the Bonsai Sushi restaurant on Promenade Deck.
There are only two cabin-only decks (decks 1 and 9) – in the rest, staterooms and public areas are all mixed together, allowing passengers to easily get to the places they want to be. The only downside of this is that there are few Carnival Panorama rooms that are not subject to noise from public spaces – so check the deck plans ahead of time and choose your cabin wisely. There’s traditional Carnival fun too, and these fan-favorites are great news for everybody! Three age-perfect youth programs keep kids busy having a blast with their peers, while Playlist Productions™ take songs you know and make high-energy crowd-pleasing shows out of them. Dive-In Movies makes a big production out of the big screen over the pool, plus The Punchliner Comedy Club™ features family-friendly shows… and, uh, late-night shows for after the kids go to bed.
While on your cruise to Mexico, be sure to stop at BlueIguana Tequila Bar for Mexican beers and tequila drinks. Carnival Panorama offers plenty of places to enjoy a refreshing cocktail or two. This popular show allows you to hear some of your favorite hit songs in spectacular productions of singing and dancing but on Carnival Panorama, Playlist Productions is an experience like no other. Professional comedians entertain you with family-friendly and adults-only performances, guaranteed to liven up your evening. Panorama's Godmother is Vanna White (1957-born as Vanna Marie Rosich) - a US TV personality and actress, best-known as the hostess (since 1982) of Wheel of Fortune (NBC nightly game show, first aired in 1975).
Choose from an indoor trampoline park, dodgeball, slam-dunk basketball, bouncy fun for young ones and toddlers, and so much more to keep everyone energized and jumping. Follows the complete list of Carnival Panorama lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. If you consider that SkyRide does not provide the needed adrenaline-pumping action, SkyCourse ropes circuit do. Both SkyCourse and SkyRide are part of the SportSquare, which also features an indoor hangout, mini-bowling, The Clubhouse, Ping-Pong, sports video gaming, arcade basketball and more.
